The SFA have arranged a friendly away to Sweden. The match is to played on 11th August, which is three days before the SPL starts.

Levein Off To A Winning Start (3 Mar 2010)

Craig Levein got his managerial reign off to a winning start when Scotland defeated the Czech Republic 1-0 at Hampden. A second half strike from Scott Brown was enough to give Scotland their first friendly win at Hampden in 14 years.

McGregor Left Out Of Scotland Squad (22 Feb 2010)

Rangers' keeper Allan McGregor has been left out of Craig Levein's first Scotland squad due to an injury that was picked up during an incident in Glasgow on Saturday. Fellow Gers Kris Boyd and Lee McCulloch have been included as has Andy Webster who is on loan at Dundee Utd. Former Celtic captain Stephen McManus who is on loan at Middlesbrough has been left out.

Scotland Given Tough 2012 Draw (7 Feb 2010)

Scotland have been drawn with reigning European Champions Spain in the qualification campaign for Euro 2012. They have also been drawn with Czech Republic, Lithuania, and Liechtenstein. There will be a meeting on 19th February in Madrid to arrange the group fixtures.
